Very convenient from Basel Euro airport take bus no. 50 to Basel SBB train station in town. Walk 4 minutes to this hotel. Near the hotel, trams to everywhere of this city.

I was staying with my son at Metropole Hotel and our room was on top floor next to the panoramic restaurant. Our room was big enough for both of us, bathroom was okay, it could be little bit bigger but it was clean. There was no airco but we slept really good with open window and the streetnoise didn't bothered us. The Hotel is nearby Central Station and metro so it was very relaxing to use public transportation and tip go to Markthalle to grab a bite, just 600m nearby Metropole

Nice hotel centrally located. Vouchers for free public transport were great. Only minus was having to climb out the end of the bed as it is up against the wall

good location and the room is big. The staff is very nice and friendly and helpful. Further the hotel also offers a city card and it can be used to free transportation etc.
